Set within a tropical garden of coconut palms on a long white sand beach, Musket Cove Island Resort & Marina features two swimming pools and two bars including the famous Island Bar. A variety of accommodation is available including Garden, Lagoon & Beach Bures plus Two Bedroom Villas. All accommodation is located alongside the lagoon or white sandy beach or set in secluded gardens

Situated in the Mamanuca Islands, just 55 minutes from the mainland by high speed catamaran with four return services daily.

All accommodation offers traditional and rustic Fijian décor. All accommodation offer a separate living area and tea & coffee making facilities. Pure Fiji bathroom amenities are included in all rooms.

The Resort is meal Inclusive with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included daily. Dining is available at either Dicks Place Bar & Bistro offers à la carte and Buffet Fijian cuisine, while The Trader Café serves casual meals overlooking the lagoon. Our Island Bar has a variety of local spirits, beer and wine.

The Makere Wellness Spa offers manicures, pedicures, massage and body scrubs. Diving is available via our onsite dive centre Subservice Fiji.

Island Paradise!

We absolute loved our stay.. we were here for three nights and it was the epitome of relaxation. The island was gorgeous, it was our first time in Fiji and we were very impressed. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and genuine - they welcomed us like family. We stayed in a beach front Bure which was peaceful, spacious and comfortable, and most importantly the beach was right at the door step! We will definitely be back ️ Claire and John

Lovely Island to walk, swim and relax. Great scuba and snorkelling just 10 mins from where you stay

The meals were excellent. We had the all inclusive meal package. There was great snorkelling just off the end of the island. No kids club they had more family activities each day like weaving or beach volleyball.

The resort was spread out and we could have used the bikes but at 45FJ a day they were not being hired. In contrast Plantation Island resort has heaps of guests hiring. If the charge was 45 FJ for your whole stay that would be reasonable.

Liked the location, the accommodation (needs a little love) but they are well planned with aircon and very spacey), staff except for 1, activities that are available,

The pool, pool area & restaurant was tired, the food for the price was OK. Didn't have toiletries refilled. There was 1 night when there was the smell of sewage next to the Restaurant.

It's a very unforgettable time.

Breakfast was very hearty. There are a lot of different options every day to fill my day. Lunch was quite simple but enough to recharge everyone for the afternoon activities. Dinner was very sumptuous too and there was a band playing for us every night with us.

Our suite was a bit far from the reception and restaurant. When it rains, water will accumulate outside the suite, which is very difficult for walking, but I think this problem will be solved after the renovation.

VINAKA MUSKET COVE ISLAND RESORT.

We had the all-inclusive package, generally the food was pretty good but sometimes over-cooked, especially fish and chicken. The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and helpful. Beautiful location and sunsets. Good snorkelling and other water activities, beautiful beaches. Great entertainment with great voices. The Trader Cafe offered good menu items. The unit was good, the staff who take care of the rooms were excellent. I loved the fact staff greet the catamaran with a welcoming song... great harmonies and voices. Nice touch.

A cautionary note: the last catamaran to the Malolo Lailai Island where Musket Cove Island Resort is at, leaves Nadi at 5:30 PM daily. The catamaran takes approximately 1 hour to reach the island. Our flight from NZ arrived late, we arrived about 5 PM, the catamaran would not wait for us to take the 1/2 hour shuttle to the port so we missed that last transfer which costs $95 / person. We had a choice of waiting until the following morning or arranging a private boat to take us to the island, the cost $300 / person, in our case $1200 FJ or $600 USD approx. We calculated this was cheaper than spending the night (hotel, meals, taxi & transfer). You might say.. book an earlier flight but this was the only flight arriving from Auckland, NZ. The resort is looking a little tired in some places but we did notice the resort is making efforts in repairs and upgrades.

Fantastic when can we go back!!!

The rooms were fantastic and the service from moment of arrival was awesome, stunning beaches, great activities, the food was AMAZING!!! So much to love!

The pool was full of algae when we arrived, they cleaned it over several days but still wasn’t very clean. You had to buy water, they give you 2 bottles a day but between 4 in the heat it doesn’t go far so it’s really adds up.

Great sized room, that was very clean. Food which was part of package was epic. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Amazing location.

We all had a great stay and it was good value

It suited our family ages from 6 months to 70 years.Great having all food included and the food had plenty of healthy options

There could be more entertainment or music at the tiki bar . Maybe there could be more sun loungers as some of the yachties were using them

Perfect getaway to relax and unwind.

There are three resorts on this island. The family resort was quite wild and not what we would have been looking for in this location, and the adults only resort was too stuffy when we visited. Musket Cove offers a great mix...some families, casual atmosphere, great staff, very relaxing setting. Met all our hopes for a trip like this. Also the meals provided with our stay were amazing! There was always a few options daily that we loved, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations.

Perhaps could have used a couple more resort activities, i.e. yoga at the pool/beach.

Wonderful ambience - peaceful and beautiful location, with great accommodation. Musket Cove offered everything our family wanted. All staff were delightful, welcoming and helpful at all times. The resort provided water activities, sports and excursions which were enjoyed by the children and adults every day, adding to our enjoyment of the tropical experience. The food was also a highlight - delicious, abundant and catering for all. We loved our week at Musket Cove and are looking forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic family island holiday

Great island life. Not as fancy as some Fijian resorts but really comfortable. We travelled with our kids and their families and everyone had a great time - best holiday ever, is a quote from our 13 y.o. Grandson! Good snorkelling from the island for the little ones

Logistics of getting there from Australia is a bit tedious because we arrived at the very end of the day and did not actually arrive at the resort till 7pm. Others we spoke to, told us they had a day or two at Denerau before transfer to island which made it a bit easier

Exceptional

Staff made me feel right at home as a solo traveler. The resort is beautiful and spread out over the most beautiful part of Malolo island. I had a Lagoon Bure which was large and spacious. The Makare spa was also a highlight.
